I placed sixth.
Growing up I was taught that it isnt about how I place but more if I personally improve and that is how I've measured my athletics. I did improve and am very pleased with that and not just in my pushing but also my combine. I really need to work on my sprinting because that is really what is killing me. In the combine 4 out of the 8 events we are tested on are sprints so its 50% of the score.
The National Push Championships were so awesome to be a part of and I'm enormously blessed to have that opportunity. As a brakeman, you get three attempts and I was the first rookie to go. The only other rookie that beat me is this lovely girl from southern Utah named Kristi and she is a stud. We've been pushing each other since day 1 and I know we will continue to do so. In order to compete on the World Cup you needed to participate in the National Push Championships and so by doing so this qualifies me to compete there. It's what I'm working everyday for.
